Tidbits: Shells

Hey everyone! So, summer has officially started in our house. My hubby, Luke, is a teacher and school’s out! So everyone is home! Whoop Whoop!

It is one of my favorite times of year. And though things will be busy for me work wise this summer… I am really looking forward to some much needed breaks and time with my family too.

This morning we hit up our favorite breakfast spot… Benny’s on the Beach in Lake Worth. SO yummy.

We also spent a few hours on the beach. My daughters love the beach… really LOVE it (which we is a big reason we love living in Florida).

One of their favorite things to do is collect shells along the shore line. Today we found a ton with little holes in them and got an idea. Let’s make some lovely jewelry with them. So, we did!

And that’s what my Tidbits is today…  Not really a tutorial on how to put together Shell necklaces (because as you will see below, I am not a pro at that) but, just a reminder for you to enjoy this summer! Take time to spend with the ones you love. If you have a beach nearby, try and go! It’s so refreshing to take breaks… and they are so needed.

Hope you enjoy a few shots from our morning… and of course, our lovely jewelry pieces at the end.
