So this post is extra special for me…

Today, I get to introduce you to my sister’s love…

Let me start by saying, I love my sister dearly. When I look back at my life, I realize she’s not just my little sister, but one of my closest friends. What a blessing that God gave me Christy!

This past year I have been able to watch her fall in love. And to see Derrick really love her back. It has been fascinating to see their lives come together entwined and the happiness that surrounds them.

I can’t wait for January and when you two can make it official. It will be the beginning of a beautiful life together!

I love the pic on the left because it proves that even from the beginning, I have been protective of my baby sis (Derrick, take note…. j/k). And the one of the right is quite embarrassing of myself, but I love it because Christy is dressed as a little bride (Christy, I promise to wear something a bit more stylish and um, less revealing to stand beside you on your wedding day).
